FEATURED WINE : Riberach, Rose No. 19, 2019

Riberach, based in Roussillon, France was started as a collective of winemaker friends in 2006. Focusing on indigenous varieties, they are concerned with making soil-driven wines with true terroir, meaning sense of place. This rosé is aged in oak and has a slight cotton candy smell mixed with burnt caramel. Perfectly balanced and not sweet at all, it is the perfect French rosé...in our humble opinion. Drink chilled, in the sun, with friends!

It probably comes to no surprise that over here at Maison de la Muse we love food almost as much as we love wine, and we really love them together. Our intent for this section is to highlight some of our favorite restaurants, chefs, and pop-ups around Los Angeles that are making some truly delicious food in amazing settings. Our restaurants took a big hit last year, and with the reopening, we are so excited to start supporting some of our favorites.

What is a wine appellation?

A common term you hear when talking about wine is appellation. Discerning wine drinkers will often inquire about the appellation of the wine, and wine shops have been known to sort by appellation.
